Welcome to the Sperry Software Outlook add-in newsletter which offers news, tips and other 
information to keep you in the Sperry Software loop.  It's a short one this time, because 
we're hard at work creating the new versions that will work with Outlook 2007.

*** Attachment Save Version 4.0 Released  ***

  New features have been added to the flagship product for Sperry Software.  Previous versions 
  of Attachment Save did not reattach the file until the message was in the Outbox.  Attachment 
  Save 4.0, with it's new interface, now automatically erases the URL links at the moment you 
  click the Reply, Reply To All and if you click the Forward button, will also reattach the 
  files right there so you can see them BEFORE you send.  In addition, you can now specify a 
  program to execute on the attachment after it has been saved and the link can now appear at 
  the top or the bottom of the email.  The Undo process has been expanded to support a multi-folder 
  Undo process, and UNC paths are now accepted in all Sperry Software add-ins.  Finally, you can 
  now save emails (with their attachments) to your hard drive as well in several different formats.  

  This is a free upgrade for all previous customers; as usal when upgrading, just uninstall your 
  current version by going to Control Panel...Add/Remove Programs, finding it in the list and 
  removing it, then download the new version and install it.  You can get the new version from 
  http://www.SperrySoftware.com/AddIns/AttachmentSave.msi.
And don't worry, all your previous settings will be saved when you re-install.


*** Update On Our Outlook 2007 Versions  ***

  As mentioned, we continue to work hard towards producing these new versions.  It looks like 
  it will be at least November/December until they are ready for production, but we'll notify 
  you when we start the
(public) beta tests.


*** Do You Use Email Effectively? ***

  Microsoft Inside Office recently re-circulated an article on using email effectively.  We 
  wanted to pass it on to you because when we read it last year, we adopted this simple plan 
  and it seems to be helpful without a lot of investment in learning new ways of thinking or 
  significantly changing the way you work.  The article can be found at

  Another good resource for staying organized is http://shop.office-watch.com/ooe.  This guide 
  from the publishers of the Office Watch newsletter is another good way to quickly organize 
  your Inbox - without significantly altering the way you currently work.
While it is not free, it's less than $10.00 (USD).


*** Recent Fixes And Updates ***

  We continue now with our new segment to let you know what changes have been made to the 
  add-ins.  Keep in mind that the items presented here are usually minor enough to not warrant 
  a full release, but are important enough to tell you about.
	
  Add Email Address: Now supports adding email addresses when right clicking Reply and 
  Reply To All from the "main" Outlook window.

  All Duplicate Eliminators now properly display the report when the add-in has finished.  
  Previous versions offered to show you, but could not find the report and silently failed.

  All our add-ins now accept UNC paths (for example,
"\\servername\foldername") in place of mapped network drives.  This is especially useful in 
the new Attachment Save.

  Reply To All Monitor: Similar to Add Email Address, Reply To All Monitor now works when right 
  clicking Reply and Reply To All from the "main" Outlook window.  Previous versions were not 
  notified of the "click event" and failed to perform the appropriate confirmations.

  Latest engine version: 3.3.65  - This number can be found by going to (in Outlook) 
  Tools...Sperry Software...About Sperry Software Add-Ins.
