For many Sperry Software add-ins, email filter settings are limited when it comes to deciding which emails the add-ins should process. This is by design, since Outlook Rules and Alerts can be used in conjunction with the add-ins to form a powerful combination.
Consider the case where a user wanted Auto Print to only print emails that did not come from his company.
For many Sperry Software products, there is no built in way to handle exceptions like this. However, almost all the add-ins allow you to select a folder that the add-in operates on. This allows you to make use of Outlook's Rules and Alerts feature, whereby you can have the rules operate on an email including moving incoming emails to a particular folder if it meets certain criteria. Since Outlook rules always run before add-ins, a rule can be set up to move an email when it arrives.
For the case above, a rule can be made to always move an email (or a copy) to a newly created folder EXCEPT if it has the company domain and have the add-in watch that folder and print everything that arrives in it (instead of the Inbox).
You can find Outlook's Rules and Alerts in the main Outlook window, under Tools.
