I installed a new version of an add-in, and my old ones disappeared

SYMPTOMS:
All previous Sperry Software add-ins disappear after adding new ones

CAUSE:
The "engine" or underlying framework that all Sperry Software add-ins depend on was updated with a newer version than the old add-ins expect to see.

RESOLUTION:
Upgrade all your add-ins to the newest ones by following the instructions in this KB article.
