I installed Hide Fax Numbers, but i still see all of the fax numbers?
SYMPTOMSAfter installing Hide Fax Numbers, you notice that you still can see all of the fax numbers in the address list.
CAUSE
The add-in does not automatically go in and hide the fax numbers for you. The add-in does support auto-hiding of the fax numbers, but this only works on new contacts created after the installation of the add-in.
RESOLUTION
To manually hide the fax numbers that existed prior to the installation of Hide Fax Numbers follow these steps:
Click the "Sperry Software Add-ins" button.
Select the "Hide Fax Numbers" add-in.
Select the "Manual Hide/Show" tab.
Click the "Hide Fax Numbers" button at the bottom.
This process will go through your selected contact folders and hide the fax numbers.
If no fax numbers are hidden or there are some still visible, go to the 3rd tab of Hide Fax Numbers and make sure the fax numbers are checked.
