How to Troubleshoot the attachment is attached then removed when forwarding or replying to an email
SYMPTOMS When using the Attachment Save Add-in, the attachments are not re-attached when forwarding or replying to a message. The attachment appears for a short time and then is replaced by the link again.
CAUSE This is caused when Attachment Save is configured to monitor the Drafts and/or Outbox for attachments. When monitoring the Drafts folder, a copy of the forward or reply email is automatically saved in the Drafts folder after just a few seconds. Attachment Save sees this item and removes the attachments.
RESOLUTION Change the Attachment Save configuration so that it no longer monitors the Drafts or Outbox folders. This will stop the add-in from removing the items from mail before it is sent.
