Send Individually button does nothing, even though the add-in is not disabled in Outlook.
Solution:
If you are using Microsoft Word, the add-in may have become disabled in Word. To re-enable it, go to (in Word) Help...About Microsoft Word...Disabled Items. Find the add-in in the list and enable it. You will need to restart both Word and Outlook.
If the add-in was not disabled in Word: If using an external file list, be aware that because of a limitation in Outlook, it is necessary to break up lists of more than 2000 names into smaller, more manageable chunks and send your emails in multiple different campaigns. Note that this only applies if you are using an external file list - when using email addresses from the address book (or Contacts) there is no limit built into the add-in.
If not using an external file list: On some systems, the add-in does not work well with Word set as the email editor, and this symptom is the result. To turn off Word as the email editor in Outlook 2003, follow these steps:
- Go into Outlook
- Go to Tools...Options...Mail Format
- Uncheck any options that reference using Word as the email editor
- Click Apply, then Ok
- Try using Send Individually again
Note: It is not necessary to exit Outlook after this, but it is necessary to close and then reopen any open email windows.
