Arbor has two very different types of employees who send email:<\/p><ul style=\"margin-left: 0px; padding-left: 20px;\"><li><strong>The Finance team<\/strong> handles sensitive financial data and needs strict rules \u2014 every external recipient must be confirmed individually before an email can go out.<\/li><li><strong>The Sales team<\/strong> sends high volumes of outbound email to external contacts all day long and would find those same strict rules disruptive to their workflow.<\/li><\/ul><p>Without Groups, David would have to choose one rule set that applies to everyone. These take highest priority.<\/li><li><strong>Group rule set<\/strong> \u2014 the user is a member of a group that has its own rules.<\/li><li><strong>Domain rule set<\/strong> \u2014 the company-wide default rules apply. This is the fallback for anyone not in a group and without individual rules.<\/li><\/ol><p>A user can only belong to one group at a time.
