How To Uninstall Add-Ins From Microsoft Outlook\u00ae<\/span> <\/h1> <\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

To keep a clean system, or sometimes to install new versions of add-ins, it is sometimes necessary to uninstall any unneeded Outlook add-ins. Note that we are talking about traditional installed desktop add-ins (the kind where you have to download a setup program), not the \u201cmodern\u201d style Office 365 add-ins. You can read our article on how to remove those types of add-ins<\/a>. There are basically two ways, from Windows using the Control Panel, and from the setup program itself. Assuming that the installation program is well written, there is no difference between the two methods.<\/p>

How to uninstall add-ins from Microsoft Outlook:<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

  1. Exit Outlook<\/li>\n \t
  2. Go to Start\u2026Control Panel\u2026Programs and Features\u2026Uninstall a Program<\/li>\n \t
  3. Look for the manufacturer\u2019s name in the list (all our products are listed under \u201cSperry Software \u2013 name of add-in\u201d)<\/li>\n \t
  4. Highlight your selection and select\u00a0Remove<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

    The above method works on Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10, and Windows 11 is Sperry Software\u2019s preferred way. Note that if you don\u2019t see the add-in listed, you may need to view the other instructions on how How To Remove Office365 Add-ins<\/a>. This next method requires that you have the original setup executable.<\/p>

    How to uninstall add-ins from Outlook using an add-in\u2019s setup program:<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    1. Exit Outlook<\/li>
    2. Using Windows Explorer, navigate to the setup EXE that was originally used to install<\/li>
    3. Double click it to start it<\/li>
    4. Select\u00a0Remove<\/strong>\u00a0from the list<\/li><\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
