Planned Maintenance for Safeguard Send for Office 365

Tonight (April 25, 2022) we will be performing upgrades to the Safeguard Send App for Office 365 underlying architecture.  The maintenance window will be open for two hours starting at 8pm EST, but if everything goes as planned, it will only be for a few minutes.

Note that we are referring to the “pure” Microsoft Office 365 version of the add-in and not the traditional desktop version.

There should not be any interruption in your service, but if there is please remember that Office 365 will simply send any emails without any prompts if the add-in fails to respond for any reason.

These underlying changes will help pave the way for new features including the ability to control which corporate users receive which rules, all the way down to the granularity of being able to say, turn on debugging for an individual user out of thousands.  In addition, we will soon be able to automate billing when onboarding new users so that we won’t have to keep track of users via a manual method.

[Update Apr 25, 2022 9:46pm] – Everything is updated and appears to be normal.  Please contact us if you are having any trouble with the Safeguard Send for Office 365 add-in.
